Crazy Weather

This morning it was cold but at least the sun was shining. This afternoon it was gray and it was spitting snow. Boy you sure can tell we live in Michigan.

The supplies came that I ordered Monday. Boy are they fast. 20 excluders and some nuc boxes. I am going to be so busy painting again this weekend. Today I bought some more solar lights and took them out to the yard and put one in front of each hive. I figured the girls would probably like a little night light.

Wines Bee Yard will participate in the Relay for Life. I'm kind of excited, and a little nervous about it. Usually the health club I work in participates, but last year we just didn't get enough help to make it work. Jim and I want to be a part of something that helps others. My dad died of Lung Cancer and Jim's father has had to go through it too. We really lucky to still have Jim's dad with us and it would be nice to be able to help contribute so that hopefully other lives will be saved. We both know a whole lot of people who are facing being diagnosed with cancer right now. What can we do? Neither one of us could come up with a good idea or how we could really help. So if you would like to help us out and be a part of our team, just let us know. The relay is at the Lenawee Christian Center in Adrian Michigan July 21st & 22nd. We will be out there walking all night, the tent will be up and hopefully we will be able to raise enough money to help make a little difference. I can send you a form so you can register for our team, and I'll keep everyone posted as to how much we are able to raise.

Better close for now, I have a whole lot to get done before Monday.
